Contemporary Christian Ministries (CCM) is an evangelistic ministry of Community of Christ. Our style of worship is relaxed and informal, full of joy and praise and spirit-filled. With the use of contemporary Christian music, there is room for many different expressions of praising God. There are people of all ages found in CCM ministries, but there seems to be a particular appeal for young adults and those who are searching for a more expressive, open style of worship.

CCM Mission Statement: 

We bring Christ's healing love and compassion to hungry, thirsty, broken, and lost lives.

To become a united, vibrant force of Holy Spirit-led disciples, testifying of Jesus Christ's love.

We feel a “call” to develop disciples of Jesus Christ who can take the good news of the gospel to the “bruised and broken-hearted” and those who are enmeshed in sin to offer the love, hope, peace and joy that can be found only in Jesus Christ. We believe that lives can be transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit and that we must equip ourselves through the spiritual disciplines and by studying the Holy Scriptures.

We join with the World Church in “Proclaiming Jesus Christ and promoting communities of joy, hope, love and peace.” We want to be instruments in bringing about reconciliation and healing of the Spirit and believe strongly that our discipleship includes the words that Jesus spoke in Luke 4:18

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and the recovering of sight to the blind; to set at liberty them that are bruised.”
