The camp theme Out of the Earth was chosen because of the endless bounty
of God’s creation for us, of the richness of life, of the rebirth and
renewal which is for all of us. “The earth is the Lord’s and the
fullness thereof’ (Psalm 24:1) is an affirmation of our own creation and
everything God has provided for us. God also brought Jesus Christ Out of
the Earth, a savior who lives alongside us on earth. Using the knowledge
of God’s earth and Christ’s teachings, we can celebrate with children
and youth in a ministry of wholeness, purpose, and hope.
