2-4-6-8-Who Do We Appreciate?
A staff appreciation subteam has been created under the
E-group leader’s charter. This team is tasked with creating opportunities to

volunteers from each e-group to serve on the team. If you have an interest in
hospitality, showing staff appreciation, and building community please e-mail
Susan at snaylor@CofChrist.org or
call ext. 3045.
Habitat Volunteers Still Needed
You can still volunteer to finish the Habitat for Humanity
home that was started at World Conference. Contact
Ken McLaughlin at ext. 2459 to

Discernment at World Conference
Conference attendees participated in brief discernment
group experiences. It is important to know that discernment is a process.
Learning God’s will takes time and involves various tools and disciplines.
As we explore methods for answering the call to be
prophetic, patience is essential. The various tools already available include
Listening Circles, Covenant Discipleship Groups, study materials on spiritual
disciplines, and trainings provided by ministry specialists.
For more clarity on these tools and their place in the
discernment process see the church website on June 1 under Spirituality. Dave
Schaal's article on page 5 of the May 2007 Herald offers additional resoures.
