Temple Ministries

Shalom Place is the official name for the former Communications suite. This area has been temporarily added to Event Pro for functions and processes related to Temple Ministries and the pursuit of peace. Detailed plans are being developed to incorporate this site and future displays into the building tour. At that time, the space will no longer be available for meetings.

Wireless Internet Coverage

The Technology Support Team has added additional coverage to wireless access in the Temple. Those meeting in the Continents Room, Peace Makers Room, Lecture Hall, and Library can gain access to the Internet with wireless compatible computers. At this time there is no direct access to the internal network. Please contact the Library or Help Desk for password information.

Welcome

Scott Murphy officially joins the IHQ staff as the new Director of Human Resources today. His office is in the Human Resource Ministries suite.

Diane Sadler rejoins the IHQ staff as the Child Disciple Formation Specialist. You can find her in the Ministry Support suite, room 2029 in the Temple.

Everything is on track for arrival of Wim van Klinken, new Director of International Headquarters, in August. More details will follow as they become available.

Daily Organ Recitals

Beginning June 1, Community of Christ staff organists once again offer a summer of 30 minute recitals featuring organ music from diverse cultures each day.  Take a few minutes at 3 p.m. to hear one of the magnificent organs in the Temple and Auditorium.
