Children

Adults and teachers are encouraged to use the Disciple's Generous Response lesson and activities to help children understand and internalize the following objectives:

• Tithing is money given generously as a response to the generous gifts God gives.

• A disciple of Jesus Christ makes a generous response in congregational life and to the world.

• Generous responses to God's gifts of love and grace are also shown by being stewards of body, time, talents, and planet.
