God provides so many tools to bring ministry into the world. It is thrilling for us to be a part of a church that is anchored in the mission of proclaiming Jesus Christ and promoting communities of joy, hope, love and peace. While honoring our heritage, we recognize that God calls us to prepare for the future in an ever-changing world and to be co-creators with God of that future.
Stewardship, which includes our financial response, is fully integrated into the way we offer our lives in discipleship as a response to Jesus Christ. These principles of stewardship will continue to be a meaningful part of our heritage and our future.
Further, in response to the direction given to the Presiding Bishopric in Doctrine and Covenants sections 147 and 154, we are expanding our understanding of the stewardship of temporalities. This empowers us to meet the needs of a growing church which God has promised will "stir the hearts of the people as never before." (Doctrine and Covenants 154:5a)
We are anxious to hear your suggestions, concerns, or testimonies of good news. As the website expands, we envision many new tools that will allow and encourage God’s people to be responsive disciples.
